Development of the newest technologies and their implementation in the economy as a basis for energy security in Europe were the subject of an agreement with the Military Technical Academy in Warsaw. WAT Rector Professor Zygmunt Mierczyk and President Zbigniew Roch during the exchange of documents .

Chairman of the Scientific Council of the ECB, Professor, PhD. Stasch Anthony stayed with the mission of technical universities for training of Kazakhstan in the field of complex automation of industrial processes (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) in power.One of the important elements of the program was a plenary lecture by Professor. Stasch for the conduct of its session, at an international conference in Pavlodar devoted to the latest technologies, including energy production from deep geothermal by Professor Bohdan Żakiewicz.

Establishment of Polish Technology Platform. Great interest in the Polish government to technology transfer, and the introduction of facilitation of its implementation in the industry, was the reason put forward by Prime Minister Waldemar Pawlak invitation to sign in the Ministry of Economy in Warsaw in the act of appointment of the Platform.

In the meeting in addition to representatives of science, business and industry, participated Mieczysław Kasprzak the Deputy Minister of Economy and Minister of Science and Higher Education, Jacek Guliński.

The signing the constituent instrument by the President of the European Technology Platform, Professor Bohdan Żakiewicz and President of EKB Zbigniew Roch.

IV International Conference on Sustainable Development and Ecological Innova.Chairman of the Scientific Council of the ECB, Professor, PhD. Anthony Stasch and colleagues presented in results of 4 scientific works of the economic analysis of deep geothermal energy utilization, Professor Bohdan Żakiewicz in relation to photovoltaic and wind energy. The conference was organized by the School of Engineering and Environmental Protection, University of Science and Technology in Krakow and the World Academy of Arts and Science (WAAS). The work team led by professor Stasch showed that the only chance to prevent environmental disaster, while ensuring the further development of economic powers such as China, India, Brazil, Russia, Indonesia and Turkey, is the implementation of a global technology created as part the cooperation of Swiss-German Lake Constance Area, Silicon Valley and Bangalore.

The signing of the agreement in Warsaw, enables the start of the project Silesia an underground extraction of energy from coal. This innovative technology was taken by world-renowned scientist, Professor. Bohdan Żakiewicz way to generate energy without the extraction of coal to the surface.This agreement is the culmination of over two years of negotiations, led by the President of the ECB Zbigniew Roch, and initiated the meeting in Dusseldorf vice-Prime Minister Waldemar Pawlak, with Minister of Economy Westphalia Thoben Chris. Negotiations preceded by a presentation of the technology at the Polish Consulate in Cologne aroused active support from participating in the meetings of the European Parliament President Proffesor Jerzy Buzek.

10.07 – 25.07.2012 // China
The implementation of strategic projects in the fields of energy and mining raw materials, and environmental protection, as well as closer cooperation between a group of leading Chinese companies and Polish, German and Swiss consortia and research centers was the main objective of the two-week visit to a group of European experts in China. The technologies by world-renowned scientist, Professor. Bohdan Żakiewicz, received the highest recognition of the representatives of all relevant ministries, the Chinese government experts, and local authorities. Vice-President Katowice Coal Holding Waldemar Mróz and the Rector of the Military Technical Academy, General Zygmunt Mierczyk participated in the talks. After a turbulent business negotiations, agreement was reached enabling short-term implementation of the projects in Europe and Asia.agreement on the involvement of Chinese capital in further investments in the European Union and the financing of joint research projects also signed. On behalf of the European delegation signed a contract Professor Bohdan Żakiewicz and President of the European Business Club Zbigniew Roch.

As part of the II Summer Exhibition of Economic was celebrated with the end of a diplomatic mission consul Margaret Wejtko – Head of the Department of Trade and Investment Promotion RP in Cologne. Stressing the merits in the development of economic relations between the Polish and Germans, in particular, the consistent promotion of European integration, the ECB president Zbigniew Roch gave Ms. Wejtko nominated Honorary Member of the Club.

On the same occasion, Alice Roch handed Consul Malgorzata Wejtko on behalf of the President of the European Technology Platform “Earth Energy” Professor Bohdan Żakiewicz diploma for outstanding achievements in the implementation of the Lisbon Strategy.

The ceremony featured a concert by Polish chamber ensembles, and memories of the most famous in Poland German citizen Stephen Moller.

Organized by the ECB during the Economic Mission to Hungary signed agreement between the Hungarian companies and research organizations and companies from Germany, Switzerland and Polish. These agreements related to the implementation of new technologies, with particular emphasis on the energy, mining, and ecology.

On the occasion of the National Day of Polish Consul General of the Republic of Poland Róża Kozłowska invited representatives of the diplomatic corps, politics, science and culture held in the gardens consulate anniversary celebration of the Constitution of 3 May. Ceremonial concert and banquet were excellent background for the exchange of views and discussions behind the scenes at the most current political and economic issues. Provide funding for European investment entities was the subject organized by the ECB in Zurich meetings with representatives of leading Swiss banks, consulting firms, and insurance companies. The meeting was attended by members of the boards of applying for a grant of German, English, Hungarian and Polish. President Zbigniew stressed the need to create mechanisms to facilitate access to venture capital and investment funds, insurance.

During organized by the European Commission in Warsaw conference on “Strategic Energy Technology Plan”, cooperating with the ECB prof. Piotr Moncarz from Stanford University presented the construction of carbon-free power technology promoted by the club. In an interview of Zbigniew Roch and Janusz Cieślak with former EU Commissioner Günter Verheugen was emphasized urgent need for the prompt implementation of this technology.

Vice President of the Club Janusz Cieślak took part in the international conference Meet Poland 2011 in Warsaw. During accompanying conference in the Polish Senate meetings Janusz Cieslak met with the Deputy Speaker of the Senate Marek Ziolkowski. The talks focused on ways of improving the flow of business information, and the construction of Polish prestige on the international arena.Topics of the conference aroused active support from participating in these meetings, the President of the European Parliament, Professor Jerzy Buzek.

ECB president Zbigniew Roch and vice president Janusz Cieślak during a meeting with former Commissioner. EU Regional Policy, Member of the European Parliament, Danuta Hübner, addressed the problems of support for the EU structures and member states of innovative technologies and processes for their implementation in industry.Club representatives Hübner professor handed a CD which contained outline of the latest technology in the field of energy, the agriculture, infrastructure and environmental protection with the strategy of financing.An urgent need to restructure of the system subsidizing research process, and the need to create a closed investment funds (SPV) dedicated implementation projects so called   “high risk” is an indispensable condition for maintaining the competitiveness of the European economy.Project of a new financial strategy presented by the ECB has been previously consulted with specialized consulting firms in Geneva and Zurich managing this type of investment funds in Luxembourg.This concept has found also recognition during the talks with  ECB representatives the President of the of the Polish Academy of Sciences Professor Michał Kleiber, President of the Polish Economic Society Professor Elżbieta Mączyńska  and director   of the  National Contact Point for EU Research Programmes Director Andrzej Siemaszko.

President Zbigniew Roch and his wife, at the invitation of Consul Margaret Wejtko, took part in the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the signing of the German-Polish Treaty on Good Neighbourhood. The meeting, which opened Róża Jolanta Kozlowska – Consul General of Poland in Cologne, proceeded in a very warm atmosphere and it was an occasion to recall the past two decades, not only from the perspective of Polish-German relations, but also from the point of view of people participating in these events.

European Economic Congress in KatowicePresident of the ECB represented by at the Congress. In a discussion with former Commissioner. Enterprise and Industry Gunter Verheugen, the EU underlined the urgent need to promote innovation in the European economy. Potential for increased cooperation between Polish and German companies on the example of Saxony were the topic of conversation Zbigniew Roch with former Prime Minister of the same Land, George Milbrandem, and three-way exchange of views on the transfer of technology and joint cross-border projects participated director of the National Research and Development Centre Professor Krzysztof Kurzydłowski. A banquet given in honor of the guests is an excellent backdrop to discussions about the progress of the recommendations of the V-Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Poland Waldemar Pawlak, concerning the placing on the latest technologies related to energy ekatrakcją underground coal deposits by Nobel Peace Prize nominee world-renowned scientist, Professor. Bohdan Żakiewicz. These discussions led as suggested by the Prime Minister Zbigniew Roch with the president of the Węglokoks Jerzy Podsiadło.

President Z. Roch took part on the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the Polish Academy of Success.
In this case, the chairman of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. M. Kleiber presented his new program entitled “wise Poland” the first time, that could change the business in Poland dramatically. One of the Guests was Mr. Olgierd Dziekonski, state secretary of the Registry of the Polish president.

In the Hilton Hotel of Warsaw was held a conference of the European Investment Bank about transport and energy. The President of the European Business Club, Z. Roch has participated on this meeting. At this event at a high political level, current issues were discussed to facilitate dialogue between key stakeholders and share information on funding needs and opportunities.

The General Secretariat of the European Commission invited European Business Club to the consultation on the future direction of the European Union and the environmental protection. This invitation was sent as part of the activities of the ECB as a representative of the interests of associated members of the club before the authorities of the European Union. We remind you that EKB already took part in the consultation on economic issues and training.

European Business Club was organized in cooperation with Department of Trade and Investment Promotion of the Consulate General Economic Forum entitled “Polish innovative solutions to the world’s energy problems.” Forum was held at the Consulate General of Poland in Cologne.

The European Business Club in connection with the charitable activities has entered into a partnership agreement with the organization “PARAMUSIX”.

Präsident Z. Roch holded a presentation about the support of Entrepreneursship in Masovia/Poland. Other speakers were the former marshall of the Sejm, Jozef Oleksy and vice marshall Stefan Niesioloski. The event was held under honorary patronage of the EBC.

Prof. Bohdan Zakiewicz, together with President Z. Roch and Vice President J. Cieslak, went in talks with Mr. Skarzynski who is a specialist in hearing and language research. Topic of discussion was the support of a global project called “Sight, Speech and Hearing”. The aim of this project is to considerably increase prognosis for patients suffering from hearing impairment.

Topic of discussion was the latest technologies of subterrestrial energy generation and the support of this work.

They discussed a second-to-none pilot project for the subterrestrial extraction of coal linked with deep geothermics. As already announced before, the project (realized in Silesia and being in the execution phase already), is supported by the Polish Government.

As part of his activities in co-organizing and sponsoring the „Investors‘ week“, Mr. Z. Roch, President of the European Business Club, gave a lecture. In his speech he explained how the German stock exchange is in contact with the European Market and how it intercommunicates with the German economy.

Further, Ms. Alice Roch introduced to the audience the German federal state Baden-Württemberg which is known as one of the most progressive regions within the EU. She explained Baden-Württemberg’s influence on economic research and economy in Europe.

Zbigniew Roch –  EKB President has took part in the solemn world congress of the Knights of the Order of St. Stanislaus in which, inter alia, delegations came from England, Scotland, Austria, Germany, Belgium, USA, Mexico and Brazil. The meeting took place in the monastery of Jasna Gora and the Royal Castle in Krakow.

To the public are given nominations Jan Zbigniew Earl Potocki successor of the Grand Master Prince Jan Nowina Sokolnicki.

During the ceremony for charitable activities Order of St.   Stanislaus has been awarded the President EKB Zbigniew Roch.

EBCA delegation led by President of the Club Zbigniew Roch and Chairman of the Scientific Council Professor Anthony Stasch held talks with the Polish-German-Lithuanian-Belarusian-Ukrainian in the area of electronic postgraduate lifelong learning. The talks took place in Vilnius and Ejszyszki.Topic of conversation was the involvement of the Polish community in the implementation of the Lithuanian Polish – Swedish Eastern Partnership program.  From the side of Lithuanian took part in the talks  : the mayor of the Polonia center of city Ejszyszek, senior of Polish  Michal Sienkiewicz, president of Sokol Lithuania, Henry Baranowicz, the head of the District Ejszyszki. The talks ended with the participation of 20 thousandths of Poles in Vilnius parade organized on the occasion of the Constitution of 3 May.The procession and celebrations of the Constitution of May 3, was honored by the delegation of the Sejm. The highlight of the ceremony was the Mass. in the sanctuary of the Gate of Dawn  led by a priest Metropolitan.
